We had an amazing dinner at Neon Place tonight – a true gem for authentic Hong Kong cuisine in the UK! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. We ordered the Stewed Beef Brisket Pot, Salt & Pepper Aubergine, and Yeung Chow Fried Rice, and everything tasted spot on, evoking the vibrant flavors of Hong Kong's dai pai dong street stalls. It was hands down the best Hong Kong-style meal we've had here. We also enjoyed a hot lemon tea and an iced lemon tea, both perfectly brewed and nostalgic. Highly recommend – 5 stars all the way!

The food at Neon Place is amazing and very authentic, made me feel like I am in Hong Kong! The staff were friendly and welcoming as well! My favourite is their hong kong milk tea, french toast with peanut butter and their chicken rice! Highly recommended and I will definitely come back again!

This is my first time leaving a review on Google Maps because this shop deserves it! You may think that it is just another Chinese takeaway by the look of it. I thought so but apparently it is not the case. Limited seats and I DO recommend to eat in because the food was delicious when they are served proper hot and fresh. We ordered the baked pork chop rice, BBQ pork rice and French toast and they were all great. This is probably the first Chinese/Hong Kong restaurant I’ve been to which does baked pork chop rice and they NAILED it. If you don’t like the taste of it, you’re probably one of those people who like the classic whitewashed Chinese takeaway. BBQ pork was also amazing which blew my mind. I’d never expect a Chinese takeaway in the UK to provide such high quality food. The lady was also extremely nice. They do deserve way more customers and I’m glad that I found this hidden gem.
